JJ'S Home of Refuge is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for young women who have faced trauma, abandonment, abuse, and neglect. We strive to provide the love and support these resilient individuals need as they transition out of the foster care system and into adulthood.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower girls aging out of the foster care system by providing a safe, supportive home environment where they can heal, grow, and thrive. Through personalized life skills training, mental health services, trauma recovery support, and a comprehensive range of educational, medical, and vocational services, we help young women navigate their transition into adulthood with confidence, resilience, and independence. We are dedicated to offering the tools and resources needed to build strong foundations for a successful future, ensuring each girl has the opportunity to reach her fullest potential.
